About Me

if you’re looking for help from someone who isn’t just going to nod but someone who understands your quirks…that can be irreverent with you, laugh with you, but also help you past the fear and pain so that when you go home and look at your lover that you are able to show up for them...I’m your gal

About Me

I have always been fascinated by how people think and the diversity of cultures in the world.  As a result, I started traveling and learned to speak Spanish.  I obtained my BA in sociology from University of California, Irvine, with minors in Women’s Studies and Spanish.  I obtained my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.

I have 21 years of experience in the helping profession, and have been practicing as a licensed psychotherapist in the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas for the past 12 years. During this time, I have helped children, teenagers, adults, and families resolve conflicts and cope with adverse physical, mental and behavioral health issues. I also have treated homeless military veterans, as well as individuals with intellectual issues, eating disorders, codependency, chemical dependency, and various forms of trauma, including domestic violence.
